my test result is 15/20..honestly i quite disappointed with the result. but nevermind la as long as pass the okay already.:)
meanwhile, this week we try again the database, from this sections i am more clear with how to use database.
database is the data which is compiler by some company. the data are reliable and up to date. however the data are limited. like mostly the data about the business, health, IT and electronic. therefore very difficult to search from database if your topic is not about business, health and other more.
some database only have one topic. like i saw one of the database, the data all about art. so it is better if want to search about art.

So tired and sleepy. . .. why so many assignment need to do???
i got 2 programming project, 2 cds portfolio, 1 lab mini project and PSPS project....
some term break suppose to be give us break,, why gave us so many assignment. . .
anyways. . so sorry for the late posting. . .
during the week 6, i missed to post! but i still remember clearly about what i learn on that lesson. at the beginning the teacher teach us about the invisible database. so nice that the school have paid the company for using their database so that now we can use the database. Thanks TP...
after that we try to using database meanwhile the teacher check our portfolio draft and give some comment so that we can do better. so far i got the mistake and i also learn from the mistake thus i believe i can do better in my portfolio part 1.
and last tue is the test. . ..so i study quite well, but TO BE CONTINUED!!!!

This week is too tiring for me. So many quiz, lab test, assignment, and project need to do and submit so as the portfolio for the EIR and sketch for another CDS. STRESS!!! Soon it will be holiday!!! YEAH!!!
I wish that I can finished all the project and assignment before the term break so that holiday I can focus more on my working.
I saw my friend posted on the Facebook that if we have one CDS, I will be more relax than now. But the CDS must EIR!
To the point, this week we learn two new search engines. That is Meta search engine and subject directory. For the portfolio part, it is like the war between search engine (Google and Google scholar) versus meta search engine (Metacrawler) versus subject directory. I spend about 1 day and only 60% finished. Meta search engine is the search engine tools that work together with other search engines. For example Meta crawler work together with Google , yahoo, Bing, ask and many more. So that when you using meta search engine is similar to u use Google, yahoo, Bing, and ask at the same times for searching 1 topic. Which one saves your time?
However does not mean that is perfect. It also has a lot of cons. One of them is the advertisement also in the result part which is makes us confusing when using meta search engine.
Another search engines is subject directory. The search engines that grouping the webpage based on their category. It is human compile search engines. Thus it will have limited result and the results cannot confirm that it is the latest information. However it using catalog based, so can search the information based on the category. Besides that, keywords searching is also available.

today,, i do the virual shopping via second life.
honestly, im quite confuse with the games.
i go to the indigo, the shopping mall whick is offer me alot of girls product.

and

the environment quite interesting,, quite nice, but the product make me confuse. at first i thought that is just a poster.

the products are chargeable with pound dollar, therefore no money to buy the things.

somemore i do not found any people there, and make feel boring just go around and see the poster.

but that the best experience is the teleport things. in real world, we cannot use teleport then need some times for travel there, but at second life, we can do that.

no matter what, those assignment need to be done before the deadline. . .

today, we have the third lesson of the EIR and unfortunately my computer cannot access internet. end up i use my laptop to do it.
today i learn a new search engine which is www.scholar.google.com
compare to the search engine that i used to use, there are so many pros and cons between them,, here they are

I found that using www.scholar.google.com is more effective search engine compare to www.google.com .
Firstly, both of them give me the information that is relevant, however, scholar.google has a few link. It is around 144result compare to google which is has 81500 links.
Secondly, The result from both of them, scholar.google has better result and easy to find the info that is relevant than google which u need to spend more time for view the result.
Lastly, scholar.google is easier to find article and it also show the citation that google do not have.
im quite impressed by both google search engines.

besides that, we also have a discussion forum. so many people express their opinion and view of the internet, some is pros, some is cons and i agree with some of the opinions and i learn how other people view of internet.
it is a awesome experience

what is citation and bibliography???
when i see all of the book, some of the pages are citation and bibliography. but i do not how to use that until now.

and lastly, i am still not familiar with the twitter, can someone teach me how to use? and add my twitter please?

Currently I’m week 2 but I’m so stress. For core module, everything okay. However I’m dying in my second CDS which is introduction of digital tools and techniques. Is there anyone can help me?

Second week of the EIR lesson, I learn about so many kind of internet resource. Although I can understand what the tutor explain, but when use in internet, I cannot different this webpage using what kind of internet research. I need more time to absorb all these in short period.
For the portfolio topic, I choose trend and development of animation in Japan. I thought it will quite easy to find, but the fact is different.
Other than that, we also have imaginary online shopping. I have $500 imaginary money and I will spend it for internet shopping. My friends recommended me some internet shopping websites. One of them is ebay.com.
After taking some times browse the things there, I decide to spend the $500 for

Hi,

I just realized that I did not use blogger for a long time already. Because of the EIR, I will use blogger again. I do not mean anything bad. Last time I quit using blogger due to lack of knowledge how to use the blogger and don’t any friends using blogger. However this time is different, I will have friends who will view my blogger, be my friends in blogger and can share the knowledge of blogger.

Before I further the description, I would like to introduce myself. I am harsono, an Indonesian.
You can call my Chinese name as well ‘junhao’. I prefer friends call me junhao than harsono. Why?
It is because none of my friends can call my name correctly except they are Malaysian and Indonesian .thus, my name become hasono.
I’m 20 year old now however my friends all thought that I am 23 now. But never mind then as it is a sign that I am mature. After 2 years in Singapore, I manage to enrolled to some polytechnic and finally I choose Temasek Polytechnic under diploma in common electronic and electrical engineering/ETCM.
I am from a poor family. I heard from my mother that when I was young, we were very poor until don’t have money to buy foods. End up we need to borrow money from relative until my dad earn the money from his job. Therefore I start working already when I was 8 years old. is it Unbelievable?
So I spend all my time for studying and working, and with the great effort and my dad’s business getting better, therefore I can further studies in Singapore where I am here now. I don’t have any Favourite singer and TV programme. I spend most of the time with browsing and networking. Sometimes make some contact with my friends at my hometown and Singapore also.
I prefer using facebook and MSN as my friends all using facebook and MSN also,, it make me easier to contact with them.
Other internet sites are mangastream. I site for reading manga comic online.

I don’t dare to use expert to myself. There are a lot of people who is better 100 times than me.
However, my cousin realised one of the skill on myself that I did not realised. I am curious with IT related things.
When he is reviewing the programming, I stood beside him and see what the hell he is doing.
I did not understand what is he typing but when he ran the programme, I started to understand what he was doing. Thus, he asked my mother to give me a chance to study the computer.
Time goes so fast that I study IT for about 7 years. I study Microsoft office(word, excel, powerpoint, and access) for 3 years but now I almost forgot all. 1 years of freehand designing, 1.5 years macromedia flash which is combine design and programme animation. Another 1.5 years, I start learning programming. I learn Pascal, a very old programming software and VB(Microsoft visual basic studios).




This programming skill is quite difficult to learn. You must have high logic thinking and problem solving skill. So why many people got difficulties in learning programming maybe lack of the problem solving skill. You can go to the following website to find out more about programming
